Tom Carroll
Tom is the coordinator of jazz studies and an instructor in the music department at Denison University. He has coordinated the Denison Jazz Guitar Festival for a number of years and also is organizer of the Granville Blues Fest. Tom is a popular guitar performer and recording artist, most notably with his Tom Carroll Trio and local favorite, Lazy Boy and the Recliners.
Tim Cummiskey
As the principle of several groups and trios, Tim is a leading jazz and classical guitar performer in central Ohio. Tim currently serves as a member of the Jazz Studies faculty of the Ohio State University School of Music and as a member of the music faculty of Kenyon College. Readers of Downbeat and Just Jazz Guitar magazines will also recognize Tim as one of their contributing writers.
Brett Burleson
Brett is a graduate of and currently teaches guitar at Capital University Conservatory of Music. Additionally, he teaches at Kenyon College and Ohio Wesleyan University. He has extensive performance and recording experience throughout the US and Europe with a wide range of musical genres, including big band, bebop, avante-garde jazz, rock and roll, R&B/funk and classical guitar. His first CD, Head Above Water, includes jazz standards and original compositions. Currently he performs with The Bygones, Postal, The Tough and Lovely, and the Brett Burleson Trio.
